Affiliate Disclaimer

Hey everyone! It’s Melissa here, the owner of the blog you are currently reading đź‘‹

I would like to let you know that my blog participates in affiliate marketing.

What does this mean?

It means that if I am recommending a product, an activity or a hotel, I might be receiving a very small percentage of commission if you end up buying or booking from the link. This is done at no additional cost to you. You would still be charged the same whether you use my affiliate link or if you purchase straight from the website.

Why is affiliate marketing important?

Let me start off by saying that the content of this website is 100% free and will continue to stay that way. However, running a blog is not free. There are costs associated with maintaining a blog, such as domain name cost and hosting fees to ensure this blog is always up and running.

On top of that, I spend a chunk of my personal time maintaining this blog – which includes everything from writing up new and (I hope) informative travel posts for you, doing research, editing photos then attaching them to my posts, website development, and answering your questions.

My promise to you

I will always recommend a product that I have personally used and am a big believer in. I will also only recommend hotels that I have stayed in or have been recommended to me by a friend. I might be recommending an alternative product/activity if the exact one is not available online. I will only recommend something that I have carefully researched, and will take note of reviews.

If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for reading!
