Affiliate Disclaimer

Hey guys! It’s Melissa.

This page serves the purpose of letting you know that my blog participates in affiliate marketing.

What does this mean?

It means that whenever I am recommending a product or a hotel, I may be receiving a small percentage of commission if you do buy or book from the link. I don’t do this all the time, only if I happen to be recommending a product or a hotel that is available on my affiliate marketing platforms.

Why is affiliate marketing important?

The content of this website is 100% free and will stay that way. However, having a blog is not free. There are costs associated such as domain name and hosting fees I need to shell out to ensure this blog is up and running. On top of that, I spend a considerable time maintaining this blog – which includes everything from writing up new and (I hope) informative travel posts for you guys, research, editing photos, website development, and answering your questions.

My promise to you

I will always recommend a product that I have personally used or is a big believer in. I will also only recommend hotels that I have stayed and enjoyed. I might be recommending an alternative product if the exact brand product is not sold online anymore, but I will make a note to do so and will only recommend a product that I have carefully researched based on reviews.

If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks guys!
