I have first visited Offtrack last year when I wanted to take my friend out for her birthday. I was sufficiently impressed that I decided to return back here for my husband’s birthday! So I think, a review is definitely overdue.
What impressed me about Offtrack, at first glance, is their Interior design. I took a lot of photos so I can refer back to it for my own personal use. They use plenty of colors and ambient lighting to create an inviting yet trendy vibe.

Don’t miss going to the toilet while you’re here, even if just to wash your hands. You’d be amazed how they’ve turned the service yard of an old shophouse into something that looks open and cozy.

In terms of food, their menu is divided into 3 categories: Smaller plates, Fillers, and Larger plates. For the two of us, we ordered 2 smaller plates, 1 filler and 1 larger plate to share. We found it to be quite enough to fill us up.
First, the Thai Tuna Tartare. This tasted a bit like ceviche with an asian kick. It goes really well with the sesame crackers too.
Offtrack is famous for their garlic noodles. I didn’t order the noodles last time, but I finally did when I saw every other table have ordered this. And it didn’t disappoint! The noodles are lightly creamy with a nice chewy texture. It’s very addictive.
I always order Eggplant Fries if I see it on the menu, because I’m a huge fan of eggplants. This dish was great – the eggplants were lightly battered and crispy on the outside, but retains the tender texture that eggplants have when cooked.
For the larger plate, we ordered the Iberico collar, which uses chinese spice rub. I thought it was good but nothing especially impressive about the dish.
It’s worth noting that Offtrack has a one drink per person policy. I didn’t feel like drinking at the restaurant, so I had to order from the non-alcoholic menu which was quite pricey. My Jamu soda was $16!
Overall, I’m still quite impressed by Offtrack. It’s got the vibes, great food, and good cocktails. I’ll be back again!
